CN Philharmonic Announces Legendary Carnegie Hall Debut

The CN Philharmonic is pleased to announce their debut performance at the legendary Carnegie Hall on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at 8 PM. Led by esteemed music director and conductor, David Jeong, the CN Philharmonic will perform the world premiere of David Jeong's Overture for Orchestra as well as Walton's iconic Viola Concerto, joined by violist Ohhyun Kwon, and Beethoven's vitally important Symphony No. 5. Founded in 2018, the CN Philharmonic orchestra - comprised of rising stars, award-winning soloists, and prominent New York & New Jersey professors alike - has already performed at the United Nations, Lincoln Center, and venues all over the greater tristate area, while pursuing its mission to breathe new life into an art form steeped in tradition by showcasing the diversity of classical music through a mixture of traditional and modern compositions, as well as Jeong's own original symphonic works.
